About Rivet
Rivet is an open-source orchestrator for agentic workloads. Everything it runs is an Actor: a long-lived process with its own SQLite database and filesystem that hibernates when idle and wakes on demand, scheduled by one control plane on workers you already run.
Agents, Workflows, Sandboxes, Dynamic Apps, and Integrations are Actor types built on that primitive. agentOS and Secure Exec are libraries that run inside Actors.
Most of Rivet is Apache 2.0 and self-hostable. Rivet Cloud runs it for you, or BYOC runs it inside your own cloud account.
